How to care and clean cast iron grill pan?
1. After cooking, clean the cast iron round baking pan with a nylon brush and hot water. Soap is not recommended and do not use harsh cleaners. (Avoid placing hot utensils in cold water. Heat shock can cause metal to deform or break)
Tip: If you have difficulty removing adhering food, boil some water in the pan for a few minutes to loosen the residue and make it easier to remove.
2. Immediately dry with a towel and apply a thin layer of oil to the cast iron round grill pan while it is still hot.
Tip: Do not allow the cast iron to air dry as this will promote rusting.
3. Store in a cool, dry place.
Tip: The oven is a great place to store cast iron; remember to remove it before opening the oven.
